👉 The Wizard's Tower is a heavily fortified, multi-level structure in Gehennom housing the Wizard of Yendor and the Book of the Dead.
Location: The base of the tower is located between levels 12 and 13 of Gehennom. The tower consists of 3 levels extending upwards.
It cannot be accessed by normal stairs from the outside.
🚪 Entry
To enter the Wizard's Tower, you must find a magic portal inside a small "tower" on a specific level of Gehennom. It's below the bottom level of the Wizard's Tower. There are two such "small tower levels" in Gehennom, one of which contains the portal to the Wizard's Tower. Once you have found this portal, it will transport you to the bottom level of the Wizard's Tower.

- Layout: Three small levels surrounded by an impassable moat and solid rock walls.
- The Book of the Dead: On the top level sits the Wizard of Yendor. Upon his defeat, he will drop the Book of the Dead, the final item required to enter Moloch's Sanctum.
🧙♂️ The Wizard of Yendor
The Wizard of Yendor (often referred to simply as "Rodney" by players) is one of the primary antagonists of the game.
- He is an incredibly powerful spellcaster.
- Immortality: Once you kill the Wizard for the first time, he will repeatedly resurrect and harass you for the rest of the game, casting spells, cursing your inventory, and summoning monsters.
